    The Institute of Mathematics has launched a three year (six semesters) course B.Sc. (Hons) in mathematics and computing. Students finishing B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing from our Institute have joined in Master Degree Course and Integrated Ph.D. Programmes in IITs, IMSC, ISI, CMI, IISC, TIFR, IISERS, NITS, Central and State Universities.

    A candidate seeking admission to this programme should have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with mathematics as a subject.

  • M.A. / M.Sc. in Computational Finance

    A candidate seeking admission to this programme should have Bachelors Degree with Mathematics / Statistics as a core subject.

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing :

    The maximum number of students to be admitted into the programme is 30 which include the number of students admitted under reserved categories as prescribed by the Govt. of Odisha and in vogue at the time of admission.

  • M.A. / M.Sc. in Computational Finance

    The maximum number of students to be admitted into the programme is 30 which include the number of students admitted under reserved categories as prescribed by the Govt. of Odisha and in vogue at the time of admission.

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing : (excluding hostel accommodation fees, mess fees and other fees)
  • M.A. / M.Sc. in Computational Finance (excluding hostel accommodation fees, mess fees and other fees)

After collecting the application form and prospectus in person / through post / downloaded from institute website, the filled in application forms along with all other relevant documents should be sent to The Director, Institute of Mathematics and Applications, Andharua, Bhubaneshwar - 751 003 by speed post / in person so as to reach the institute on or before May 14, 2014 (Wednesday).

Selection of candidates for admission in both B.Sc. and M.A. / M.Sc. courses shall be made on the basis of the entrance test. The entrance test will be of two hour's duration. Eligible candidates / students appearing at the qualifying examination can appear in the entrance test.
